Radiographic Reflections

by Andrew Boring

Digital, 1920x1080 pixels

Artist’s Statement:

Day explores the dynamic of treating a patient versus treating their anatomy. An extensive knowledge base can only take one so far if they can’t actually see the person in front of them. Night examines burnout. A sacrifice of one’s own humanity to help others. Sometimes to the point where they don’t recognize their own reflection.

Andrew Boring is a third-year medical student at the UTCOMLS.
